Robin Trower
About this show
After leaving Procol Harum in the 1960s, guitarist Robin Trower formed a power trio with James Dewar and Reg Isidore, releasing his solo debut in 1973. His 1974 follow-up album *Bridge of Sighs*, recorded with producer Matthew Fisher and Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick, would prove to be his breakthrough success. The album featured outstanding tracks like 'Day of the Eagle' and 'Too Rolling Stoned', with Trower's mesmerizing guitar work earning him recognition alongside the era's greatest guitarists. The album reached No. 7 in the US and established Trower as a major touring act of the mid-70s. Now, 50 years later, Chrysalis is releasing an expansive anniversary edition featuring new mixes, previously unheard outtakes, live recordings, and a Dolby ATMOS mix, alongside a detailed booklet with interviews and testimonials.
